When you look at home prices in Oceanside, CA for single family homes that are now listed, you find that the median price of a home in the Oceanside area has actually increased ever so slightly.  At the same time, however, the number of homes for sale in the Oceanside area has likewise increased.

Here’s the most important part of this report for this week.

“The median list price in OCEANSIDE,
CA this week is $360,000. The 572
properties have been on the market
for an average of 110 days.”

Inventories (number of homes that are listed for sale) are rising.  With more homes coming into the market place, there will be pressure on home prices to fall.  Remember that greater supply will result in lower prices.  So, if you’re thinking of selling your home, now might be the best price you’ll be able to see as a return for quite some time.
