This week we see that while home prices continue an upward climb, the number of homes for sale, and the time those homes are on the market before they are sold, continue to climb. There are now 622 homes for sale, and the time on market has risen to 93 days. Remember that different areas of Oceanside are selling at different rates. Here, for example, are homes for sale in the Fire Mountain area of Oceanside.
Are Oceanside Home Prices Falling or Rising?
Interestingly enough you probably don’t even have to click on the chart above to see that home prices in Oceanside are generally increasing! Perhaps, as I have mentioned previously, the homes that are currently listed are no longer representative of simply distressed or bank owned homes, but reflect that homeowners in Oceanside who have equity in their homes may now be deciding that it is a good time to sell a home.
