Bank Owned (REO) Homes in the Oceanside Housing Market

It’s not as easy finding a bank owned home these days.  This particular home at 2808 E Vista Way I have listed in Vista is particularly suited to those who are looking for the rural lifestyle that only parts of Vista can offer.  The Oceanside housing market has a wide variety of homes, and the rural homes of late have been difficult to find on the market.  This may be close enough for you, and you should investigate it if it looks interesting.

Make sure you’re using all the features of my site to help you out with this.

What Is Your Oceanside Home Worth?

First stop on the train of success is to find out how much your home is really worth.  Believe me, your brother-in-law who sells one home a year to a relative isn’t going to be much help here.  Neither is a listing agent who is dying on the vine and would promise you any price if you’ll just list with him/her.

Instead, do you own research.  Take advantage of good statistics about YOUR home, and YOUR neighborhood, and YOUR valuations.  I’ll get you the information you must have to value your home.  Just do it!

If you’re searching for homes, then in addition to registering and getting daily updates on homes in your price range, please also take the big picture approach and learn what the Oceanside Housing Market is doing across many of the areas there.

Our Oceanside Market Statistics Page is exactly what you’ll need for this.  Spend some time over a period of weeks so that you can see for yourself the trends and economics behind the home you want to purchase.

Today’s Oceanside Housing Market Report Takeaway

The biggest takeaway for me was the DOM or Days on Market.  We did go through a period when homes were being purchased after just a few days on the market.  Snap…they were gone.  But reason set in, as did slightly higher mortgage rates and the fiasco in Washington, and now homes have begun to settle into what is a more typical time on the market.  Yes, 57 days is very typical of a strong market, with plenty of time for buyers to gauge each property against others.  Take advantage of this selling timeframe now to get what you want without rushing.

Take a look at the communities below to see just how many lifestyle options the Oceanside, CA homes market has to offer.
